We are proud to offer three newly written and unique courses that have been developed to provide Travel and Tourism students with a work related qualification that today’s travel industry employers recognise and are actively looking for..

A career in the Travel Industry is an exciting and rewarding experience. Leaving College with a Global Distribution System (GDS) qualification will ensure that your students will stand out from the crowd when the time comes for them to search for employment. ’Plane Training in partnership with Amadeus UK can offer the UK college market the ideal technology travel training solution to help ensure that students leave college and find employment.

We have designed the following modularised courses which run for 12/13 weeks (2 hours per week) and all courses use the Live Amadeus GDS:
- Amadeus Reservations (endorsed by Amadeus)
- Fares and Ticketing Level 1 (endorsed by Amadeus and Star Alliance)
- Fares and Ticketing Level 2 (endorsed by Amadeus and Star Alliance)

How would this process work?

The above courses can be trained by:
• Our experienced ’Plane Training trainers at a cost of £40 per hour plus expenses
• Your own Lecturers
If the latter option is preferable, your Lecturers will be trained via our ‘Train the Trainer’ workshops. Lecturers will be required to pass an exam in order to deliver the courses (95% pass mark) and their performance will be monitored. Trainer workshop courses will be run every quarter and more intensively during the last quarter to be prepared for the new academic year.

Our responsibility to you

Whichever training method you choose, you can be certain that all courses will be delivered to the highest standard using the best and most up to date course material. We will supply lecturers’ manuals, master markers, student course manuals, exam papers and certificates.
We will also ensure the correct and timely marking of all exam papers. Students with an 85% or more pass mark will received a full certificate and students who achieve a lower pass mark will receive an attendance certificate, or will have the chance to re-sit. All certificates will be endorsed by either Amadeus or Amadeus and Star Alliance if it is for the Fares and Ticketing courses.
