Mike Preston
Mike joined Planetraining after working for Amadeus in Madrid and Sophia Antipolis (France) for 18 years, the last 13 as a trainer in various different areas, travelling worldwide to assist new system user airline migrations and training ACO trainers.
He began his career in travel stamping brochures and making tea in a small travel agency in North London but soon jumped ship when the grey skies and gloom of Harold Wilson's government became too depressing and sailed to Cape Town to begin a new life under the sunny skies of Southern Africa, soon finding himself in Rhodesia, in the good old days (his words!). He claims to have 'grown up' in South Africa, but adds that many who know him would question if he ever grew up at all. In South Africa he worked for an airline, and in both wholesale and retail travel, before opening his own personnel and marketing consultancy.
Mike's hobbies are travel and writing and working for Planetraining gives him the freedom to work when and where he wants, something he enjoys, and to spend the rest of his time with his Spanish partner and their 13 year old son. |

| Our trainer was excellent. She explained everything very clearly and made the subject we were learning fun! |
